Can't set relationship status to parent

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Not sure but my game is up to date with all games packs included
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into create a sim. Make a family with a parent. change the parents age (has occurred when changing the child age but is hit or miss). Sets parent as household member with the only options to change as relationship to brother/sister.
What happens when the bug occurs? When going into create a sim I like to see how my children look when they age before putting them back in a younger age state. This causes the "mother/father" options to be taken away and you are left with "household member, brother/sister"
What do you expect to see? To be able to set relationship to parents again
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
