@BloodHoneySin The most reliable approach here is to uninstall Sims 4 through the EA App and reinstall it on D. (Create a folder where it will go, for example D:\Games; don't just install straight on D.) This will not remove your saves or other user data, although I'd suggest copying the saves and Tray folders and pasting them onto D just to be safe. This also won't cause you to lose any purchased content.

I will try this, and hopefully it works! Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
- 2 years ago@puzzlezaddict It took all night but I did it, the files look different than before and the game when launched was entirely new, none of my saves were there even though the files are on my computer where they are supposed to be. Now the game won't even launch, EA app keeps telling to download it even I did already. So I am at a loss.

@BloodHoneySin Please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Sims 4 and the EA App, as described here:
Please be sure to rename the Sims 4 folder that contains your saves, mods, and other user data so it doesn't get deleted. Reinstall to a folder on D and test the game at leat twice, restarting your computer in between attempts.
If you run into another problem, create a new admin Windows account on your computer and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. You should be able to run Sims 4 without reinstalling anything, but your saves and other user data won't be available. That can be addressed later.
As long as your saves are intact, you should be able to restore them. But the first task here is to get Sims 4 itself running properly and consistently.
- 2 years ago@puzzlezaddict So I hadn't done anything yet until just now since this is honestly stressing me out, Ijust now tried to repair the game and noticed that the EA is creating a new EA file on the c drive instead of on the d drive where the game is. It's not recognizing the EA file already on the D drive.
