CAS relationships will not select and eyes reverting

I have a group of 8 Sims, which I have saved and reloaded and rearranged to no avail. There are two Sims I would like to set as "married" - the option "husband" or "wife" is visible and appears selectable but will not actually allow itself to be chosen. The Sims are both adults and have no other relationships which conflict with this arrangement. They remain "roommates". Other relationships such as parent/child and brother/sister seem to be working.

One other problem which is new to me, in this same household (in CAS) a child Sim's eyes keep reverting to other, random colors. I have always had custom Super Bland Eyes from Mod the Sims, but I have not had this problem before today. (May 5th update.)

    Afraid not, this is a new household that has never been placed in the game, only saved in the library and pulled back into CAS. Not using any cheats. Thanks for the eye thing link.

    Do you have other mods that could be incompatible with the new patch ?

    I might, I think I updated most of my mods though. It's kind of moot now because my game is now totally borked from what appears to be a corrupted save file. It will only load households/sims when I do a factory reset and borks again as soon as I replace the saves file.

    I have the same issue here...

    And the eyes only change with a boys not to girls. :catsad:

    Sims in CAS (***Regular CAS, NOT full edit mode***) cannot be set as spouses. It is the third option on the list and appears selectable, but when I try to select it they remain  roommates. I thought it might be a resolution issue but changing the graphics around did not allow me to click on it. Both Sims are adults. There are no other relationships which conflict with them being spouses.

    Merged your post with your old thread. Better to retain the history what you've already tried

    Did you ever did a rename of your user folder and try again ?
