basically, i have a lot of cc. i've searched this problem so much and tried everything. removed stand still in cas, background colors, more columns, etc. still, everytime i go into CAS after the toddler update, only a sim shows up. just a sim. i cant even quit i have to alt + esc and end it using task manager. i desperately want to know whats wrong. ive even transferred my whole game to a new computer. any help is deeply appreciated ☹️

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
thank you so much for your reply. i did what you have said but you said to put mods back in one by one... it would be very difficult since i do have over 8000 cc files. (yes i am actually insane) now, this is a mod problem i'm pretty sure. i do have some in folders and all so im gonna try, i'll get back to you.
