Then either they are in a compressed format (zip/rar) and needs to be unpacked or they are not placed in the correct folder. Here is an easy way to find out which folder your game is using: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/

The cc is unpacked and are in the correct folder. Im confused because it only doesnt work on certain mods like skintones or teeth or necrodog's recent foot default. the game just doesnt recognize them even tho they are unpacked and are placed within the correct folder
