Hello I hope all is well, for future players from the post. If you have an issue with this type of problem on your game. You guys have to pick aspirations for your sims (especially the kids) and then save the game. I use to wonder too why it wouldnt save and I spent hourssss into the CAS and always had to start over. So yeah, I just figured it out :)
