Cheats not working after update
After the most recent update the only cheats that still work are the ones that enable the testing cheats and move objects.
I tried to promote my sim that was in the deliver baby part of the doctor career (because the pregnant sim never turns up even after 3 weeks of play) but the cheat didn't work (at home or at work). I then tried other cheats to see if it was just the promote cheat but none of those worked either.
Cheats I tried that didn't work:
Promote career, changing a skill level, removing emotion buffs, giving emotion buffs, giving money, giving traits, giving aspiration points.
Cheats that did work:
Turning the testing cheats on/off, move objects on/off
Yes I checked that I typed the cheat correctly and had testing cheats enabled first.
I don't have mods or CC.
I even started a completely new game to test this on various other sims to see if it was my save and I'm still having the same issue.
I've also repaired the game in origin but still can't use the cheats.
Is anyone else having this issue?

That's weird, I used a couple of cheats while I was playing yesterday without any issues. You are enabling testingcheats before trying to use the other cheats, right?
Could you try this?:
- With the game closed, go to Documents \ Electronic Arts.
- Rename the 'The Sims 4' folder to 'The Sims 4 nocheats'
- Open your game. You won't find your save games, but this is normal so please, do not worry. Create a new game and try to use the cheats in there.
Are you having issues to use the cheats in this clean game also? Depending on the result of the test, I will tell you what to do next 😉
