Child taken away for neglect when not neglected

What happens when the bug occurs? My child keeps getting whisked away due to neglect when she has not been neglected. I have reloaded my save over and over and this happens without fail.
What do you expect to see? For her not to be taken away.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

This has just started happening today. My child sim keeps getting taken away for neglect. She has a high relationship with her parents. She is happy, she gets fed, she has fun. Only thing is that she is a Grade School F Student, which she started out as when she aged up. She was given homework to do over the weekend and was told to do it so she would improve, but there was nothing about her being taken away for that. I never get a message that she will be taken away and thus I need to take care of her, it just happens suddenly. I don't use mods, nothing as far as I know has changed between last night and today in my game.
I figured out the problem, although it took some work. When my child aged up to a toddler, I accidentally aged her up to a child as well. So I de-aged her with the console back to a toddler. When she aged up to a child normally, she started off in school as an F student. Which apparently is enough to have your kid taken away from you. Frustratingly, she was given extra homework over the weekend that she kept getting taken away to get her grades up. There was no warning that this would happen either, so I was pretty annoyed. I had to use the console to put her grades up to a D.
