@Yeomgguk Please try running both Origin and Steam as an admin: right-click on each shortcut and select "Run as administrator."
If that doesn't help, clear Origin's cache and uninstall it "the hard way":

Then reinstall using the full Origin installer (direct download link):
http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Run the installer as an admin too, and restart afterwards.
