@LukeSDarko Which mods, if any, were you using when this happened, and are you still using them now? 16 GB RAM is still extremely high for a Sims 4 save, especially such a small one, although if it runs fine for you it's not necessarily a problem.
Yeah I'm using lots of mods, and cc but just the one world is like that, never had this problem before. Game runs great on all other worlds. Do you know if they're working on a solution?

@LukeSDarko Someone from QA asked for saves related to the blank extra households, so yes, it does seem that EA is investigating. The problem is, most of the people reporting this use mods, and it's difficult to reproduce the issue without them. So it's more complicated than a straightforward bug.
Anyway, if you want to play in the new world, you may need to cut down on your mods, at least for the moment. But unfortunately, until someone identifies the root problem, I can't really offer anything more specific than that. Sorry.

@puzzlezaddictAh okay, but Us console users cannot use mods and yet we're having Immense and terrible simulation Lag (especially related to the Time clock / speed functions and Build and Buy mode is unresponsive completely) the constant game crashes in the new neighbourhood! So yeah it's Definitely "a straight forward bug" because again, Console users cannot use mods or cc! Any suggestions? And Are EA aware or even bothered about us Console players? We spend a lot of money on base game plus Eps and Kits ( I own them all now) (Full price and in most cases more for Xbox / Sony than PC charges) and we're overlooked a lot. Just really hoping they fix it this time and soon, because I'm not alone in how many of us feel so ignored by EA right now. We can't fix our games so easily like PC Users can using MCC sadly. :/

@COSMICSMURFER This is not a straightforward bug because it's not global and/or easily reproduced. An example would be when the gig menu wasn't working recently: it didn't work for anyone, mods/cc or not, right away. My point is more that something else is going on behind the scenes to trigger the issue, and it's not clear yet what that is.
Do you in fact have a large number of blank households in the Other Households list? I'm not familiar with console-specific problems, but I do know that many console players report performance issues even in the absence of an identifiable bug. It would be helpful to know for sure that the blank households appear on console as well, and conversely, if you're not seeing those, any suggestions for solving that particular issue won't apply to you.
