@Prince_WeedelError 803 can mean two things. In Windows it is a device driver problem. In this case it will be Sims related and you could try to delete the file: 'localthumbcache.package' in the: \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. When you restart the game it will make a new file and probably you will be able to play your original households.
