@thepeachyfaerie If this truly is an issue only with Reshade, you'll need to go to the Reshade forum for help. However, since this problem is usually caused by a conflict between two or more services, it's worth doing a bit more troubleshooting first. For Origin in-game, try turning it off both overall within Origin (Application Settings > Origin in-game) and for Sims 4 alone (game library > right-click Sims 4, select Game Properties).
If that doesn't help, try playing in a clean boot:

When you reboot, go through the Task Manager's background processes list and end anything that doesn't absolutely need to be running. (Some programs will still be active in a clean boot, for whatever reason.) Then open only Origin and Sims 4, and Steam if you play through it, nothing else, and test.
Hello, I appreciate the response!
So I tried disabling Origin In-Game through the methods you described, which didn't work. I then did the clean boot; only having Origin, Sims 4, and the essentials open stopped the problem. So I went through and enabled/disabled each other program one-by-one and I believe the cause was a program called X-Mouse Button Control, which is for reprogramming mouse buttons. I have removed the program and it seems to be working! Thank you for your help, I appreciate it!

@thepeachyfaerie Great to hear, and thanks for letting me know which program was the problem. I've merged your posts with the master thread for this issue so that other people will be able to find your info too.
