Hi,
Sorry if this has already been asked, I searched and couldn't find a thread. I've woken up today to an update needing doing on my Sims 4 game. I clicked update, origin did it's thing, said game was up to date, but the update button is still there and I can't play!
When I clicked on the desktop icon instead, it said the game needed updating and wouldn't play until it had been done. Went through the whole process again, same thing. I'm not overly technically minded, but this has me stumped. I've restarted my computer, signed out and back in of origin, closed origin and started it again, all with the same results.
TIA
xx

1 Clear the Origin cache
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
2. Open Origin / My Game Library - right-click on the TS4 cover - option: Repair
After the repair, right-click on TS4 and select "check for updates"
I don't work for EA
