@GasolineCrea WOW! I can't believe this little thing caused all this nonsense in my game....thank you!!! Just unchecked that box on Sophos and there we have it....endless hours of playing sims begins.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? All I have to do to come across it is try to open the game either from origin or from my desktop. Both have the same result essentially which is that nothing happens.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to launch the game from origin, the origin window disappears for a moment then reappears and nothing else happens, the game icon doesn't appear in my taskbar or anywhere else but origin still says the last time I played it was the last time I clicked on play. When I try to launch the game from the shortcut on the desktop nothing at all happens.
What do you expect to see? The game launching. Or origin opening followed by the game opening.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was the November patched released on the 11th the moment the update finished installing I couldn't open the game again.
The file I attached used to pop up when I tried to run the game as an administrator but now (after the most recent patch for crashed) nothing pops up at all.
