Hello, I've never had problems with sims 4 custom content, but this week, after about a week of not playing the sims, I noticed that all of my custom content wasn't appearing in create a sim. I was very confused because it was in the "Mods" file in the "Electronic Arts" file. Also, in my old world, all of the sims who had custom content, don't have the content anymore. .Can somebody please help me asap?
This is most likely due to the patch that was applied to the game on December 4th. This patch makes the game automatically turn off custom content when the game is updated.
First, please make sure that all of your custom content is up to date by checking all the download posts for updates as this patch wreaked havoc with quite a few mods. Once you have updated everything, you just need to go into the game options, click on the Other tab and tick Enable Custom Content. Then you click Apply Changes. You will need to restart your game for the change to take effect.
