custom content not showing up in one savefile

Hello!

This is my first ask, as I couldn't find anything similar to what's happened to me..

Here's the thing: after the last update, I went to launch my game and the cc window didn't show up (all normal) so I made sure to check and allow custom content in the game settings and relaunched the game. The cc window did show up, but as I went to load my main savefile, I realised that my custom content (hair and clothes) was not showing up on the sims. I checked again in the game setting and the cc was allowed, so I restarted the game.

And when I went to check the savefile, the cc was still not showing up BUT it was showing up on the sims from the other savefiles; what I mean is that two sims in two different savefiles use the same cc hairstyle and just in one of them it's not showing up, not both.I loaded both savefiles and it's just like this: one has all the cc I have in my game and the other doesn't. I tried multiple times to launch the game again, but nothing's changing.

Does anyone know why? Has anyone experienced something similar?

(The guy holding the grey cat should have had the same hairstyle as the guy in the first savefile)
