@alex20809 If you can see custom content in-game, but it's not in the Mods folder you're viewing, then you're viewing the wrong Mods folder. It's as simple as that.
One common cause for this is OneDrive, or more specifically Windows enabling OneDrive after an update. Doing so moves the location of the Documents directory, which means it changes which folder Sims 4 is reading, since the game uses the default directory.
So please find the path to your user folder in-game and look there for your custom content.
I had to originally had to uninstall/reinstall to put the game on a different drive. The update was stating that my computer didn't have enough memory for it. I had issues with the one drive before yet I got it to stop messing with my files. When none of the custom content is added, every setting is the way I kept it and my save files are there. I just don't get it
@alex20809 The custom content has to be there somewhere. If you find the folder the game is reading, you'll find the cc too.
I've looked in both drivers. I had copied them before I unistalled to an external hard drive. After three times of uninstallong/reinstalling, I am dumbfounded
Follow the advise in posting #2 to find the correct folder.
