Deleted a mod and now get "game data incomplete" message

Recently deleted a mod that made vacation worlds residential and now I get an "Incomplete Data" message when I enter any of my saves (the message says, "the save game references neighborhoods that have been installed or otherwise are no longer available. If you continue playing you will encounter missing data and may have unexpected results. If you save the game, there will be no way to recover the missing data.").

I deleted a few other mods at the same time as the residential one, but the residential one seems like the most likely cause of the issue. Everything seems fine when I look around the map and everything (and after repairing five million times and moving the Sims file out of and back into the ea folder) but I still get the message. I feel like it's jus the saves still trying to view the vacation worlds as residential worlds, but I'm also dumb. I'm just not sure if it's okay to play or if I should do more troubleshooting. Don't want to screw up my game.

  • @Embryn7  Make a backup copy of your saves, or the entire saves folder inside Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4, and then go ahead and play.  The worst outcome is that your saves are in fact broken without the mod, but in that case, you could restore the backup copies (that were never played without the mod) and go from there.
