How often does the bug occur? Always I think? I just discovered it.
What is your current game version number? I have the latest upload, but noticed just now that the number is all jumbled up in the "game version" file so I can't read which game version I have. Do not know if that is something else that is new with dx11, or with me disabling dx11.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs save for spooky and home chef shuffle
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Run with dx11, try to exit the game while it's running by using the windows key
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't switch between the sims and other programs using the windows key. The navigation bar shows up, but when I click another program the computer returns to the sims.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to switch between the sims and other programs (such as the internet)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? None
Regarding the gameversion.txt file you can find a thread about it here where I explain why that is. You can change to a better text editor than Notepad to read it. Otherwise check the version on the main menu.
