What is the difference between the NVIDIA Studio Driver and the GeForce Game Ready Driver? Presently I have the GeForce Game Ready Driver version 556.12 released June 27, 2024. Would this be considered 'up-to-date' to run my GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card or do I need to get the latest update version 561.09 of either the NVIDIA Studio or GeForce Game Ready driver in order to take full advantage of using DX11 in game? The game defaulted to DX11 after the update and seemed to run fine, but I reverted to DX9 due to not being able to minimize the game in Fullscreen. I tried the work around (alt/tab) and it works, I guess. However, it's very clunky to get to my desktop and not as efficient. Using DX9 the game graphics do not seem as crisp as DX11, in fact worse than before the update. I'm considering going back to DX11, but wanted to know if it was worth it or not to update the driver considering it's only 3 months old. I'm not very tech savvy, so thought I should ask here first before updating the driver if it's not needed. Thank you... 🙂
