Disappearing door and walls, missing foundation slider, etc?

So- I just got: 

- Laundry Day

- Seasons 

- outdoor retreat 

and I also have city living and cats & dogs— I had to update my sims 4. Anyway to the point: 

whenever i place a wall into the house, my windows and door disappear and my siding slider (the thing that makes the foundation of the house taller) has disappeared entirely from my game. Along with this, whenever I click on the attic decorations box for winterfest, it zooms me out of my household and won’t let me make the walls disappear. Not only this but when I start up the game it doesn’t ask what season I’d like to play in. 

Could these be caused by one (or many) of my packs and would redownloading it to my laptop fix these issues? 

Also is anyone one else having these issues?
