I want to be able to download mods on the sims but i’m on ps4 and I’m thinking of getting a PC, i already have a monitor but don’t know if i NEED to get a PC for the monitor because my monitor doesn’t work unless it’s connected to something, and i don’t know what PC to get if i need one. Any suggestions?
@sp0oderg1rll Yes, if you want to use mods, you'll need to play Sims 4 on a Mac or a Windows PC. The console versions of the game don't support mods.
However, any packs you own for Playstation won't transfer to the PC version, so you'd have to buy them again. The base game is of course free.
If you'd like to talk about what PC to get, please list your budget and country, as well as any other details that matter to you. But this is only a useful conversation if you're going to buy now—prices and inventory change too rapidlly for the information to stay relevant for long. I'd be happy to give you some suggestions whenever you're ready.
Your monitor doesn't work unless it's connected to something because it's not a proper computer and can't run any apps on its own.
