This method worked for me: Go up to top left hand corner, click go offline, then click go online and it fixed for me.
it goes to 100% but it still says that a update is required
My sims 4 update says it is completed, but the update is still there on the game page without the play button available.
This patch has bug fixes and the EA App is not downloading and installing them correctly.
I use no mods or custom content when playing Sims 4.
I have included 2 screenshots 1 of the EA App showing that the download manager says its complete, and 1 where it shows that the game still says it needs updating.
Please could someone look into this issue as its not just happening to me, it is happening to other players too. The lack of a response from yourselves, is very disappointing and I have had better customer support from small indie game developers.
