I am experiencing the same problem as OP, your answer is unhelpful. Apps shouldn't just delete themselves but this is nevertheless that has happened.
@SpaceCatSociety The point of my reply was not that the EA App deleted itself but that an antivirus may have quarantined a component of it. Apps don't delete themselves, at least not in general, and the EA App certainly does not. But it can be altered or corrupted by an outside influence just like any other program.

Thank you. I do run kapersky. Is there a way to make this stop? It's very annoying to have to download it again each day

@SpaceCatSociety Set an exception in Kaspersky for EADesktop.exe, or for the entire contents of one of the nested folders it's inside. You'll of course have to reistall the App again first. I'd suggest making the exception as quickly as possible afterwards so that Kaspersky doesn't have a chance to flag anything.
