Enormous Legacy Edition Loading Times

@ReinaTinkSims How are the loading times with a clean game folder in place? Move the "Sims 4 Legacy Edition" folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Try starting a new save in this folder, send your sim(s) traveling for a bit, quit, reload, etc. to get a sense of how it runs.
If the loading times are what you expect, the issue is something in your old game folder. You can test your mods and cc, if you have any, in batches in the clean folder; any batch that causes excessively long loading times needs to be split and tested again until you find the culprit(s). It wouldn't be surprising if some third-party item was bogging down your game, especially since the Legacy Edition is a bit different from the standard version, and creators may not have taken that into account yet.
