Also any attempted interaction with the bar will not queue, but other interactions will (they just don't execute)
It's happened to me 3 times in the past 3 days. I tried canceling all actions, attempting to travel (which usually goes to loading screen immediately), and even evicting and moving them back into their home. Nothing works so far except loading the previous save, which is hours behind.
Really frustrating bug...
Also, if I exit the game while it's bugged and try to load that same save, it will never load. I need to manually cancel Sims4 from the Task Manager and start the game up again, with a different save. I'm really glad I had a different save or I'd have lost everything I'd played so far.

Hello everyone, I'm a little confused at how exactly the reply system works here, so I did choose one particular post to give my answer to your questions. I did experience the exact same problem as all of you. Not only my current family got stuck, not the entire town, but every other family in the entire World. I did try everything from using a "Debug" cheat to reinstalling the game and adding back my old files (because for getting rid of some bugs this is actually working), but nothing happened. The same problem occurs again and again, and again. Then I decide that it should be something that I did download from the net. I started with the last package files I did put in my Mode folder. It wasn't them and I was really desperate when I remembered that at the same time that part of my main problem started to occur I did install a mod to my game. Since I'm keeping a file with all the mods that I'm installing by dates and since my computer could easily show me the date of modification to the installed files I deleted the mod file I was looking for. My game started normally, my Sims weren't stuck anymore and whatever I have told them to do they were doing it.
I am seeing that this topic is from September, but since I have experienced the same problem with the new expansion of the game (Get Together) I was feeling like sharing my opinion too. Hope that I'll help someone out there. 🙂 Have a nice play everyone and please excuse for my bad English. 🙂- crinrict10 years agoHero+
