error code 22

Hey, I'm having a giant problem with my game after the new update on The Sims 4. It's giving me error code 22 and I can't get back into my loaded games. On the saved ones that I can get into, I've lost tons of progress and now houses/possessions. This is kind of urgent being that one of my families is broadcasted on YouTube channel and the error is preventing me from playing with them. If there is a way to restart the game without losing progress that would be great. An answer or a number I could call to get help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    HI @SIMplyJenna99, 

    error 22 is usually a problem with the game not able to lock a certain file cause it's used by something else. Do you have any backups/google or MS cloud stuff running in the background ? Or maybe a microsoft update ?
