Error reporting on 11/10/2020 patch

Apparently this is after the most recent patch 11/10/2020 patch. I have a question though to everyone, is this when you play a saved family and go thru the game, or is it when you start a new family? This happens to me after i load a old family save. This might of corrupted old game saves somehow. I suggest maybe someone test out if it does same thing when you make a newer family and save. If this is the case, please post on here. Thank you. I will test on my end with a new save and family and see if i run into the same issue.

CURRENT STEPS TAKING:

- Repairing game with Origin

- Trying out a new game with a new family

- Trying a factory reset using the stickied instructions

@amybirgeYea, i don't use any mods at all. It seems to crashing in the vanilla base game.

CONFIRMED: This new update crashes the game even without mods.

CONFIRMED: This crashes the game without any CC things installed.

So this is basically something EA did with the current november update crapped up the game to make it crash in the vanilla game. WE, the game players, need to keep posting on this forum post until a EA moderator or someone from EA recognizes this issue.

In the meantime, i am doing a repair which takes awhile, then im going to try to start a new family to see if it somehow corrupts older saves.

@amybirgeThe thing is i don't use mods or cc stuff. So all i got is the vanilla game, so that is why i can confirm this is basically in the base game. I do have alot of the expansions and stuff though..

@crinrictI have not tested any other save yet as i was in the process of running repair on origin. I will test in a bit. As for uploading my lasterror information, i am still having issues doing it. Can you suggest some program that would let me do what you suggested? I tried using the spoiler text thing, but it still will not let me put it up as it says it exceeds 60,000 characters.

BUT I can confirm the following info:

I do not use mods or CC in the game, so this game is very vanilla. So far, this is only happned with one of my family saves. I have another one i will try in a bit and reply with results here in a bit.

@crinrictIt says it was created today, when i experienced the bug. It was very long errorlog file. There are also some other ones from older times when i played, but not since last year. My files are still being verified on origin. When it is done, i will run a test with another family i have saved. I don't play very many, i have 2 families i tend to play as, so i will see what happens when origin repair is done.

HERE ARE THE STEPS I WILL TAKE:

#1. I will play with the family i have that keeps crashing. When it does, i will try to upload that crashlog on here. Hopefully i can fit it.

#2. I will then play my other family i have on save, and see if it crashes. Then i will upload that crashlog report also on here. I will put them below this in another post on this page if i can.

#3. I will then play a new family i make and see if i have any crashing issues also.

I repaired the game on origin and it still lagged and froze after a short while. It's just unplayable at the moment!
