Existing households lost all traits, careers, skills and relationships.

Hello!

My game updated to the university patch, and since I've been renovating my towns I haven't played any households since the update - but when I tried to today, I got an error on loading. I figured it must be mods that need updating, and after a bit of work I got rid of all the mods that haven't been updated and updated the ones that were. 

Now my households are loading up as intended, but all of the Sims have their careers, skills and relationships with everyone (including family members) gone! Also, every sim now has only one random trait, not even from the ones they had - just something random. I checked premade families that I haven't played with and they have the same thing happen to them.

What could be the issue?
