Failed to launch game - Sims 4

Everytime I try to load the game, it states 'An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later' When trying to contact EA as this has happened for the last 3 days, I have had no response or the customer advisor leaving the chat half way through, lol. Unsure what else to do?

  • @Liddia99  Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Use the Intensive scanning method when asked.  Restart your computer, download a fresh copy of the App installer, and run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Run the App itself as an admin too; you'll need to exit it and reopen it to do so.

    If that doesn't help, to cover a lot of possibilities at once, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there.  Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address.  You'll be able to (try to) launch Sims 4 without reinstalling anything.
