family inventory sims 4

Hi, I have no idea how to find the family inventory! Because I make my sims go on dates or something and it says there will be stuff in the "family inventory" but I can't find one.

    Got o build/buy mode while your on your home lot

    There's a little icon that looks like an open box.

    That's your family inventory

    Thanks, dose it have to be in the hosue that I got say flower with or any of my households can get it?

    The household of the Sim that got the flower.

    It behaves like the normal inventory. Only difference is that it's for all Sim in your household and not just one.
