Family keeps dissapearing

What happens when the bug occurs? Families are disappear in the game. I create a family and play it and the next time I play I create another family in another world or lot and then my previous family disappears. The house they lived in is empty, when I go to load the family is not found there. This is happening all the time and is very frustrating as we are a few people sharing the game and once someone has played his household and the next time I want to go in and play mine the family is gone. How can this be fixed?
What do you expect to see? Want this fixed so that I can find my family the next time I go to my game even though a new family has been created on another lot in the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

sounds like your creating a new save game each time.
What you need to do is either click on the play button or use load to load your previous game and then create a new family from there. If you click on new, you're creating a new save game.
