Final Exam not showing completed in Discover University

I have 3 sibling sims living off campus. Two of my sims have the same major, Biology, and I noticed when they have the same class at the same time and they go to take the final exam the task is not showing completed upon returning to the lot. This error caused one of my sims to flunk and have retake the course and my other sim to get a D.

I have all of the packs for the Sims 4 and don't use CC or Mods. 

These are regular sims (Not a Spellcaster, Alien, or Vampire).
