- Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? No.
- Do you have this issue only on a particular save game or on all of them ? It is happening to both families that I have made, as well as some of the premade families. I tested this to see if it was just one game.
- Can you start a new game for testing purposes? I tried, but it does the same thing.
- Do the backups of the saves work? I haven't tried yet.
- If they do, do they corrupt after a while too ?
- Do you have any lastexception.txt files in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\ ? If so, please zip them up (all of them) and upload to mediafire or dropbox and post the link here.
- If you are also willing to share your save games, please also zip them up and upload. If you don't want to share the links publicly, you can PM me, I'll pass them on.
Questions about your save game
- Have you been switching families or played one ? I've played two different ones, but tried a pre-made family also and it didn't work.
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in ? In the family I was playing before this happened, one was in the athletic career and who's asparation was bodybuilder (I don't remember what level) and the other was in a cooking one (I also don't remember what level or asparation).
- Are there children/teens in your family ? In the one I was playing before this issue, there was one child (girl) and they just had another baby girl.
- If you started a new game and had this issue, did you put in an older Sims family or completly start over from scratch ?
- Anything else you think important? Another issue that I've noticed was that before this happend, my adult sims were struggling to have a converstation while sitting, and every time they change from chat to joke, they would change spots at the table.
