- Do you have this issue only on a particular save game or on all of them ? Just one, my legacy family
- Can you start a new game for testing purposes ok ? Yes, works fine
- Do the backups of the saves work (Here's instructions how to access them) ? Followed instructions, backups work
- If they do, do they corrupt after a while too ? Yes after one play session (one time loading the game)
- Do you have any lastexception.txt files in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\ ? If so, please zip them up (all of them) and upload to mediafire or dropbox and post the link here. Here
- If you are also willing to share your save games, please also zip them up and upload. If you don't want to share the links publicly, you can PM me, I'll pass them on. I don't mind
Questions about your save game
- Have you been switching families or played one ? Just played one, I did try to switch to see if it was the family or the save glitched before I saw the post
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in ? Okay. 1: Painter, Successful Liniage. 2: Babysitter, Friend of the world. 3: Barista, Mansion Baron. 4: Nerd Brain. 5: The music one (Can't remember name of it) 6: Kids Creativity. 7: Kids Motor. 8: Kids Social.
- Are there children/teens in your family ? 4 Teens and 3 Children
- If you started a new game and had this issue, did you put in an older Sims family or completly start over from scratch ? Didn't start any new games after patch release, did save as.
- Anything else you think important (no rants please) ? I do have some CC for the savegames - although this doesn't matter just letting you know 🙂
