Forgot to Save my Sims 4 Game!! HELP

Hi Everyone. I was playing the sims for a few hours today and I made A LOT of progress. However, when I decided to get off for a while, I accidentally hit "exit" instead of "save and exit." Is there somewhere or something that  saves your game automatically so I could find that progress, or is it gone forever?
