Freezing and Unable to fulfill commands

I recently bought and installed Sims 4 City Living and since then have been experiencing glitches. When I go to the festivals, my game seems to freeze, causing a ton of actions to pile up on the side but when cancelled won't disappear or my sim does the commands but won't go anywhere on the sceen. For example: I had my sim try some food, and instead of going to the food cart, she got her food and ate it from the bathroom, never moving. Also, my sims won't cook dinner at the counters in my kitchen, claiming something is in their way, but nothing is there. NOTHING. There are tons of other glitches I've noticed but too many to name. Those two are the biggest and it's so frustrating that sometimes I don't want to play. This needs fixed.
