having the same problem here,i put the folder on my desktop and i can now open CAS, so what do i do now?
@XanderJacobss Move the content you want to keep from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one. Here's a list of everything in the user folder:

The usual culprit for this kind of issue is a mod, so test those separately, and if the problem shows up again, sort through your mods until you find out which one is the culprit. If you have a lot of mods, the 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient:

Once you've sorted out the mods, you can transfer your saves and other content to the new folder and pick up where you left off.
