I cannot click for options for my fridges in a saved game. Also I cannot place/buy any new fridges or move the current fridges on the lot. I went to earlier versions in this same save and it doesn't even work. It WAS working the last time I played it. This is before the last 2 updates and the new Country Living pack. It works fine in my other 2 saved games. Please help.
@kristelleross Do other lots' fridges work in the affected save? You can switch households and then quit without saving if you want.
I tried to go to different lots to verify as you suggested, and I realise it is changed now - it is not that I cannot access the fridge again, the access to the options is very delayed now. The options do not immediately open when I click on any fridge - on my lot and off the lot. I am not sure if this was the position yesterday. However, I know for sure I could not place any new fridge (as I attempted to sell the non working fridge and buy a new one unsuccessfully - the fridge disappeared when it moved from Build/Buy as soon as I went to Live Mode). But today, I can, purchase one and it stays after I enter back into the Live mode.
@kristelleross As a test, try removing (selling off, trashing) everything in the fridge and see if the delay disappears. You can quit without saving; the point is to see whether there's a specific item in the fridge causing problems.
This could also be a mod-related issue, even though your other saves are fine: maybe an item in the fridge that lags is only a problem because of a mod. So if you find that an item that should work fine is causing the lag, test again without mods present.

By the way, I have no mods in my game.
Confirming I removed everything from the fridge, no change.
I deleted the fridge and bought a new fridge, the delay when clicking still appears.
@kristelleross A few other players have reported a delay when clicking on a fridge. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or something else going on, and I don't see a current bug report for it.
It's strange that you only see the problem in one save though. What world does this one save take place in, and where are your other saves? When you tested on other lots, was that within the same world? I'm just wondering whether there's a pattern.
