game broken after update

@lexexplores77  Please clear the EA App's cache:

and repair the game (EA App > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair).  Please also leave the Mods folder out while troubleshooting, to keep things simple.

If the above doesn't help, move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then test again.  This will prevent your saves from loading, but they'll still be intact in the folder you moved and can be restored later.
