@Calamitygrlgreen Is there any specific context when you get the infinite loading screens now? For example, some lot challenges seem to be an issue, especially Off the Grid.
If the infinite loading is only a problem in certain contexts, i.e. some lots or saves are affected but others are not, I'd suggest reposting in the Game Issues forum with everything you've tried. I'd like to be able to help further, but save- or lot-specific issues are a bit outside my area of expertise, and I don't want to waste your time while I figure out something other helpers already know.
@kuhlandthegang The Off the Grid lot challenge may well be the issue. Please post in this master bug thread:

@Shira15Hamby The problem may be the lot challenges on the original lot, especially Off the Grid. (Please see the link immediately above.) So try removing those and see whether you can use the original lot.
@Renee_OhHey If you can't uninstall through the EA App, use Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) instead. Rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts first, to something that doesn't include "Sims 4," so Revo doesn't flag it for deletion. If you need further help, please describe your issue in more detail.
@october_sims Please try removing any lot traits or challenges from the original lot, especially Off the Grid, which is a current Known Issue.
If that doesn't help, please try disabling or uninstalling any software from Killer. A component of one of its apps is crashing. If that doesn't help either, try running your laptop screen at something like 120 or 144 Hz instead of 300. The setting should be in Windows Settings > System > Display, maybe under Advanced. This is just a test; I'm not saying you definitely can't take advantage of the full 300 Hz.
@cocoawhirl I'd like to see a dxdiag from your computer. You can attach one to a reply here. There might be a specific, fixable reason you can't currently use DirectX 11.

@SieteHitsh If you can load the game to the Main Menu, DirectX 9 is an option included with the other graphics settings. If you can't get that far, open the EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx9 in the command line box to force the game to open in DirectX 9 mode.
If this doesn't help, or if it does but you want to know why DX11 isn't working, please provide a dxdiag as well.
