Game crashes after UPDATE
Hey there! My game has some kind of problem. I can create a family with no problem, but by putting the family in the world and start playing, the game crashes. I've seen more people report this, a...
Played for about 3 mins and bam, the game crahsed again... Cant play even 5 minutes...
@Caturra75 Please disable Origin's web helper service. In Origin, hover over your username and select Application Settings, then under Application (the first header), scroll down to Start-up options.
If that doesn't help, move your entire Sims 4 game folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Launch the game, start a new save (no need to spend much time on it, since this is just for testing), and try to play for a bit. Save, quit, and test again. Let me know how it goes.
Your dxdiag also lists a few system errors. It's a good idea to run some checks on your Windows system files. Here's how:

I wlli try too, I have the same problem, I can try it now so I can let you know
I disabled Origin's web helper but game still crash, I will try second option and let you know.
I tried the second option, it doesn't work too.
Mine too! I have a powerful computer and I know that is not the problem here. It worked before I reenabled mods but even after removing most of them (and all not updated since script mods) it still won't work. I'm sure it's just not supporting ANY previous CC and mods and if I remove all again and "repair" from origin it will work... but this is horrible. I, and surely many players, don't even want to play without at least custom hair and clothing. I only use alpha CC as well. And after downloading about 28 GB of CC and basing my new, second, youtube channel on this game. I am very unhappy with this. It's never been a issue with previous patches this year. Is anyone else having this issue?
Well guys the error is back... I was able to play for a few hours but the issue is back. Dont know what to do ☹️
@Caturra75 Please run a new dxdiag, so I can compare it to the earlier one.
Please also check the Reliability Monitor for any entries related to Sims 4 or Origin. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a list of events for each day going back a few weeks. Look for any entries since the problem started that mention Sims 4 or Origin, or that have a timestamp matching a crash. For each one, click "view technical details," copy the information into a text document (Notepad works fine), and attach it to your post.
