Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to visit a specific lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game sends you back to world select. Says game failed to load and recommends relaunching the game.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to visit the lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I've removed all mods and CC, reset my game, and put my saves in back as recommended by other threads. I bulldozed the lot and overrode the whole thing by placing a pre-made from the gallery. I'm able to use build mode on it just fine. However when I try to visit the lot, the bug occurs. My game is usually heavily modded but I've tried to reduce as many factors as possible and still get this bug. The household that used to live on the lot functions just fine when moved somewhere else. The bug only occurs with the specific lot in question.
@grinkg0 I can def duplicate your issue. Did you place any ladders on any of your lots ? The exception it generates is something about ladders
It looks like all lots in that neighborhood are affected.EDIT: Was able to fix your save. After I check on another save with a similar issue, I found a workaround
So, here's what you need to do
- Add twistedmexis allcheats mod to your game if you don't already have it
- Load the broken lot #2 in build mode
- Open the cheat console and type: testingcheats on
- Press enter
- Type. objects.destroy 0x00310ba375be0195 - Enter
- Type: objects.destroy 0x00310ba375ba0194 - Enter
- Type: objects.destroy 0x00310ba37336013d - Enter
- Type: objects.list adders - Enter
(no, not a typo) - It should now show Total: 0
- If not, try above commands again. There's no feedback so it's unclear if it worked or not.
- If it says 0, you should now be able to load your lots again
Question: Did you ever use T.O.O.L or set as head so place ladders off lot ?
