After buying the For Rent GP and installing it game starts to load a save or new game the goes back to world select screen! EA help was zero help so what do I do I tried repair no joy down loading whole game and 55 GP SP kits again EA told me it was because my transaction didn't go threw yet I got the confirmation of payment to email help please
FallenAngel1326 Do you get an error when you're kicked back to the world select screen? If so, please post a screenshot or write out the entire code.
Does this happen when loading all lots, or just some? You can use Load Game rather than Resume to test different households and lots within the same save.
Solved it was an April fools prank go side ways by one of my mod creators it was timed to go off on 4/1 was hack for TV but they forgot to check if you didn't have certain game pack so it broke game with that EP or GP not installed
FallenAngel1326 That's... pretty funny, actually. What mod was it, and what pack(s) were required? I doubt I'll see many more of these posts, but perhaps someone who already posted had the same issue and is wondering which of their mods caused the game to stop working.

Mothman007 Please test without mods to find out if a mod is the cause for you. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
Mine fixed was April Fools prank gone bad by one of my Mod creators they forgot to take out certain GP need to have it broke game for some
was Basemental not sure witch pack but he plays April fools joke every year most times it is a cool sounding package file. This year he got creative with a timed prank
