Game Mode won’t work, everything else will

My sims 4 CAS mode, loading screens, homepage, and seemingly everything work, however my game mode freezes. I am able to pick a house and move in to it from the map, but when it takes me to the house it just shows a blue screen and the words and bubbles double. I tried repairing the game and completely uninstalling it with no luck. Any idea why?

    @lydehrens  Right, your laptop's graphics driver has somehow been uninstalled.  You can get a new one from HP.  Go here:

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops

    Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 11 is fine) if prompted, and on the next page, click All Drivers.  Expand Driver-Graphics and look for the newest Intel driver by version number.  The first number is the most important, i.e. 31 is newer than 27; after that, the last numbers matter (8000 is newer than 7000).

    Download this newest driver and run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

    The HP website has a tool to try to auto-update your drivers, which is fine to use in general.  But please manually install the graphics driver first, then go back to the site if you'd like to let it update your other drivers.
