Game stuck on loading
Eversince I updated - once I start game from EA, my game is stuck perpetually loading the home screen. Similar to @SuperblySimk, the screen continues to cycle through the tips, and the plumbob continues to spin. It also isn't crashing-but it will not load the main menu at all.
I've tried:
1. repairing
2. uninstalled, reinstalled
3. tried the 'taking out The Sims 4 file out to desktop' and restart game
4. offline mode
5. check on malware exceptions
Nothing seems to work yet it seems T_T
@jnars Your dxdiag lists recent errors from McAfee and Panda Security. Are you running both antiviruses at the same time? That's never a good idea: two such apps can conflict and cause more problems than they prevent. So please choose one and stick with it.
For now, however, please test Sims 4 with neither antivirus running at all, at least temporarily. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe. The idea is to figure out whether simply removing one and setting exceptions in the other is sufficient to fix the problem.
