I used the EA app to try to launch The SIms 4, but it will not launch, even after working with the online support team. They instructed me on repairing the app and the game, and it still won't launch. I'm about to power down my PC to see if that helps, but I'm thinking it won't. When I try to launch the game, it just brings me back to the game's page on the EA app. Thank you in advance 🙂
@3f33b85f2cbf6123 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
