get famous actor career stuck on loading screen

hi! everytime my sim tries to go to a gig, the loading screen comes up and "end loading" sound happens and my mouse changes as I move around the screen as if the career loaded and I can select object...

Could you try and move your mods folder to the desktop, see how that goes. That would at least tell you if you're going the right direction with your search.

I deleted all of my mods except mccc and it was still happening, but then i removed mccc as well and now I can get it to work. Just seems odd because the mod has been updated and I haven't seen anyone else have a problem with it but I can live without it for now!
