Get into saved game, but can't play because it minimises the window

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except For Rent, LoveStruck, anything occult related, My Weddings and a few kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to play a game after entering.
What happens when the bug occurs? Try to click on ANYTHING to get to play, the screen minimises to taskbar as soon as I click. Can't play a game, select anything...no options to play without minimising.
What do you expect to see? To be able to play as per usual.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I've finally been able to get into a saved game (also having same problem with entering past Mainscreen with the same result, except for today), but not that I've got the game loaded, I can't unpause to be able to play because it minimises the window. I can't click on my Sim to choose play options because it minimises the window. I've right-clicked to test, also minimises the window. Now that I'm in, I can't play.
@mjdsaund Try forcing the game to launch in windowed mode. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero). If this helps, you can revert to fullscreen mode in the in-game graphics options, but at the same time, set the resolution to match your monitor.
If this doesn't help, please disable any apps you use that come with overlays: Steam, Discord, etc. Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well; the option is under Settings > Application.
