Getting a 'System Error' message when trying to place a lot i built

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue I'm hoping someone can help me with. Two and a half years ago I built a lot (spent *a lot* of time one it), and used it in my game.  I built it on the Oakenstead lot in Willow Creek.  Soon after that I was going to be without computer, so I saved it to the gallery (the name is 'Gold Peak Manor') so that when I got a computer again I could use it again.  Fast forward to today when I can *finally* play again.  I reinstalled the game and all the packs, downloaded the lot into my computer, and went to place it on the exact same lot, and I'm getting a 'System Error' message and it won't place the lot.  It's not working in build mode or manage worlds mode.  Anyone have any idea what's going on?  Or if someone has time, can some one try downloading that lot and place it in Oakenstead and tell me if it's something on my end or that file?

    @greytorrent I tested this and I can duplicate that it's also not working in my game.


    Also tried a different lot (64x64 even) and it would also not place.

    Do you remember if you used any moo or workarounds to build something ?

    No, no MOO.  I did have collectible stuff included...like frogs and rocks that i found.  Would that have any affect?

    What about placing the lot unfurnished...any chance that might have worked?

    @greytorrent I tried that as well, same issue.

    I tried bulldozing first, then placing, different lots, different lot sizes, furnished, unfurnished .. always the same issue.

    Did you ever locally save it to your library and might still have the tray files ?

    I wish... that computer doesn’t exist anymore 😞 Even if I could get it back unfurnished it would take many hours to get it back but it would still be worth it. Now I can’t even get that.  I wish I understood what the error was at least.

    @greytorrent I don't know why it's happening either so I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions at this point.

    I'll run this by other helpers to see if one of them has an idea.
